Hey gang, Sofa’s iOS 26 update is here and it comes with a bunch of exciting new features including Liquid Glass, Voice Boost, Trim Silence, and manual sorting.

You can now finally manually sort groups, lists, and items within The Pile and Lists

Podcast Player Improvements

• Voice Boost: Enhances speech clarity and reduces background noise
• Trim Silence: Automatically skips silent portions for faster listening
• Mini podcast player now shows playback duration under the player controls

Up Next Improvements

• Multi-Select/Bulk editing for items in Up Next
• Episodes in Up Next will display if the episode is downloaded for offline listening
• Episodes in Up Next will show the download progress when downloading an episode for offline listening

Changes & Improvements

• Improvements to the Podcast Player when in airplane mode
• Added menu options in “Up Next” to show/hide Skipped and Archived episodes
• Slight tweak to the Classic Light theme tint color
• New primary app icon (just a slight tweak compared to the previous one)

Bug Fixes

• FIXED: There was an issue where files weren’t being properly cleaned up when creating and importing backup files. This could result in Sofa storing a lot of extra data. This is now fixed and the clean up process should keep things nice and tidy going forward.
• FIXED: If left in the background for too long, the podcast player wouldn’t resume playing without force-quitting the app.
• FIXED: Issue where downloaded podcasts wouldn’t play while in airplane mode
