Searching in Sofa

The Search tab is your single place to find anything — whether it’s already in your library or something new to add.
Searching Your Library
Start typing and Sofa searches your existing lists and logbook first. Results in the “My Stuff” section show where items live — “In ‘Books to Read’” or “Logged on Jan 15” — so you always have context.
Your library is always searchable, even when you’re offline.
Discovering New Content
Search results also include a “Sofa” section with content from across the web. Find new movies, TV shows, podcasts, books, music, games, apps, and audiobooks. Tap the + button on any result to add it to a list with one tap.
Search Tokens
Add tokens to narrow your search by content type. Type a # followed by a keyword to filter results. You can combine multiple tokens to search across specific types.

These tokens search both your library and the web:

Sofa is also smart about context — searching “Dune podcast” will automatically prioritize podcast results, and searching an actor’s name will surface their filmography.
Customizing Search
You can hide content types you don’t care about from search results. Go to Settings and look for the search customization options to choose which categories appear.
