Shortcuts for Podcasts
Last Updated:
Shortcuts for Podcasts let you start listening to your Up Next queue from a shortcut, Siri, or an automation. In the Shortcuts app you’ll find them under Player.
Play Up Next Queue
Opens Sofa and starts playing the podcast episodes in your Up Next queue. Great for a “start my commute” automation that runs when you connect to CarPlay.
Play Up Next Queue for List
Opens Sofa and plays the Up Next queue for one list, so only that list’s podcasts play.
| Parameter | Description |

| List | The list whose Up Next queue to play |
You can also say “Sofa open Up Next” or “Sofa open Up Next for [list name]” to Siri. See Siri Voice Commands.
